Team Gilly is Growing.

Team Gilly is growing. Yipee!

How wonderful that thanks to the Stampin’ Up! July deal I now have an extra 3 Team Gilly members this month. Welcome Roxy, Chris and Linda to Team Gilly. All 3 have lovely boxes of goodies landing on their doorsteps valued at over £130 along with a full free set of 10 ink pads and catalogues and business supplies all for the £99 joining fee. I have to say I’m a little jealous.  I remember my first box of goodies and rushing off to craft. Thankfully I still get excited as new products arrive to be played with and new catalogues appear with tempting new items to try out. The UPs man is indeed one of my most welcome visitors.

I make a present for all new Team Gilly members. I made a colour co-ordinated pack including a colour swatch, notebook and pen for them. I have this one still for Chris ready for our next meeting. I hope they all like their gifts.

Lucky me.

I have such a lovely team all of whom make my life marvellous. They make fun of me and tease me but they are also ready to help with anything and everything. They jump to assist me when I run events and offer ideas all the time. We giggle, laugh and share amazing times as well as support each other. I’m so lucky.

Why not join us.

Having 3 new additions to Team Gilly is just great, the more the merrier.  Why not email me hi@gillyhunt.com and find out more.  Come join us. I love crafting and passing on tips and tricks. I also appreciate the fact that my team are happy and open to sharing their experience and ideas too. We can always learn something new from each other and it’s such a pleasure. Of course you can always join us from a distance as we chat and swap ideas on-line too.

BBQ and crafting a perfect mix for a sunny day.

Being part of the team is also a great social thing. I run a few social get togethers during the year and here’s a photo of our recent BBQ at my home. We enjoyed a fun day crafting first followed by a BBQ in the garden. Thanks to fab weather and a very helpful hubby, who took care of the hot coals, we had a relaxing time. Here we are what a bunch. Sadly we forgot to get the camera out till after Linda had left  to collect her hubby from the train. I do have to apologise for the quality of the photo it was John’s phone camera and  I had quite forgotten how poor quality it is.

We made a card each and decorated one of the Stampin’ Up! pre-made boxes. Two lovely projects to take home. A relaxing simple make but it enabled us to try out the Marvellous Marker pens and see how they work for colouring individual parts of stamps allowing for multi colour effects.

I then handed round a little packet decorated using the Apron Stamp and die set. The challenge is on.

The Challenged.

I gave each team member a small packet decorated with a BBQ apron in which was a plain simple notebook. The challenge is on now to decorate the notebook. I have given everyone till Christmas to show me what they have done with them. Of course they can keep the notebook after but I hope to photograph them and will show you these in a later blog. I will give away a little gift for the winner of the challenge but shhhh! don’t tell them.

Just had to share this.

As everyone went home I sat with a cuppa and contemplated on what a lucky lady I am to call this work. I had such a lovely day and an extra thanks to Susanne who left me a wonderful bouquet of flowers and this wonderful card. I hope she doesn’t mind me showing you but hasn’t she done a lovely job including a beautiful envelope too.

Thanks to my wonderful team for a lovely day.
