All the fun of the fair
Trying to drum up new members for classes. A fun time in the baking sun with my fellow team members Amanda and Lexy at the Lyppards Fete.
We hope to drum up some support for our classes. We had a small stand showing off our makes.
Amandas beautiful grand-daughter and Lexy’s lovely two children came along and threw sponges at dad’s, petted snakes and enjoyed the fun with us. Everyone gathered in the shade as it was baking hot. The local band played and a relaxed vibe was in place.
Look out!
I don’t know yet if we will get extra class members but we have catalogues to send out to potential new customers and a few interested comments. It’s so lovely to spend time with my team and we all spent our down time trawling the catalogue deciding what our next buys would be.
Thanks Amanda for her help with the prep the week before.
Amanda and I had spent a joyous evening giggling and designing a super simple tag for the public to have a go at on the day. Thanks to her for her ideas which were so effective. We really had to keep it simple so people could make and take while standing and chatting at the stall.
The pretty daisy punch, small circle and the tag topper punch make this a super impressive professional tag. We pre cut the tag size card and offered a choice of coloured inks and matching twine. Punch, stamp, stick with a drop of Tombow and a dimensional and lastly tie a ribbon or piece of twine in place and it’s done.
While we have a brand new catalogue I have not had time to make many samples using the new products. I’m so looking forward to doing so. We showed off our boxes and cards from last years classes placing them on simple colour co-ordinated 12×12 sheets and created a wonderful look book full of past projects. Of course we also had the area set up for making 3 colourful daisy tags.
We featured the new catalogue so we could highlight the new products and tempt people to come try the new things in future classes.
If you live local to Worcestershire/Gloucestershire I run a selection of classes which might suit you please take a look at the tab at the top of my blog for details of classes and events. Just email me hi@gillyhunt.com to ask for more information and come give us a try.
Thanks
Gilly
