Keeping in touch

Keeping in Touch

It’s a fantastic thing to keep in touch with people. I love to chat and meet new people.

Team meeting in Buckinghamshire

I met up with my many friends at a monthly Team meeting on Monday. This lovely card was made following my friend Liz’s super design.

We all enjoyed lots of tea and cake, a bit of business talk  and then crafted together.  It’s a great social event.Crafting in a group is fun and we all shared our cards and projects made recently.  I have come away inspired.

Getting together with Michelle my team leader and telling her all about my wonderful Team Gilly is such a lovely thing to do

.

I was lucky enough to win a raffle prize. Really I had my eye one of the stamp sets but hey…. look out world I now have a clip board !! ( Thanks for the fetching photo Nicole! )

Radio Star Gilly Hunt !

As an appeal went out for cards to be sent to someone celebrating their 80th birthday on Radio Hereford and Worcester  this week. They asked me if I would be interviewed about card making.

My hope is that this will help boost my classes as I did get a chance to plug them and give out my blog address. I have an enquiry already so fingers crossed. I love welcoming new class members.

It was a very small segment but it was nice to get the call to assist them. I must be on their radar which is a good thing.

I feel very special

Look what arrived in the post. To celebrate my 3rd Anniversary with Stampin’ Up!

Thank you so much Michelle for taking time to send this pretty tag and card. I feel very special.

Last but not least. Something extra special.

It’s turning into a fantastic week.  I have been nominated by the Lovely Lexy, who is one of my Team Gilly,  for “Recognition Wednesday” run by the Worldwide Stampin’ Up! group for demonstrators.

I was so happy that I was nominated by Lexy whose kind words were very touching. However I was totally flabbergasted to hear that I had gone and won it !!! WOW… how marvellous.

There is a prize in the post I’m told. I can’t wait. I am so hoping the prize will be something I can share with my team. Fingers crossed everyone.
